Egypt is the home of many displaced people. Refugees from countries ranging from Syria to Palestine to Eritrea and Sudan have found their way to Egypt. Among them are many women, children, elderly and people with medical needs. Different refugee communities have different needs. Not all of their needs can be met through government assistance.
Sina Network has made an assessment of these needs and is in close contact with the leadership and organization committees of the communities.
For the most vulnerable refugees in Cairo we identified the following immediate needs, whether it is food, clothing, healthcare and medication, hygiene articles, schooling materials, or legal support.
The list below can help you guide how to help us and what to donate. Please label your donations according to the below colors (so medicine red and food items green) and don’t forget to put the marked donations in different bags.
The items on the list are ranked accorded to priority, so the items on top of the list are more urgent such as medicine, food and clothes.
